The location of the apartment is great as it is close to the tram lines, making it convenient to explore the city. it is near an Asian shop called Middle East grocery, providing easy access to groceries. There is also a food market right next to the apartment, offering a variety of dining options.
The wifi reception in the apartment can be weak and may not reach certain areas, such as the kitchen or inside rooms.

I chose De Hallen because it was conveniently located near the Van Gogh Museum, which I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their Stay over service. The staff was accommodating and provided everything we needed without us having to request it. The free upgrade upon availability, breakfast and parking were also great perks. , I loved that Café Louis sourced its products from local partners, providing delicious and authentic meals.
The lights in the main bedroom didn't work, so we had to rely on side staining lamps for lighting, which was not sufficient. A desk with plugs would have been helpful as well, as we had to use the kitchen table for work but there were no plugs there.

Great apartment with all the necessary amenities and a comfortable bed. Conveniently located near restaurants and public transportation. The neighborhood is interesting and offers a variety of options for dining and entertainment. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Room cleaning could be better, as there were some areas that were not dusted properly. Also, the lack of air conditioning and the inability to open windows made the room uncomfortably hot during the summer.

I had a fantastic stay at Apartments De Hallen in Amsterdam. The location was perfect, close to tram lines and a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. The apartment itself was spacious and had everything I needed, including a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even leaving a bottle of wine and a welcome note for me upon arrival. The trendy atmosphere around the De Hallen complex was a bonus, with a food hall, cinema, and food market all within walking distance. Despite a few minor drawbacks like weak wifi and lack of privacy in some areas of the apartment, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend Apartments De Hallen for a comfortable and convenient stay in Amsterdam.
